Announcement on Pesticide Label and Instruction for Use Requirement

(Announcement No. 925 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China)

For the purpose of further regulating pesticide labels and instructions, matters concerning the information to be indicated on pesticide labels and instructions are hereby announced in accordance with the Regulations on Pesticide Administration s and the Measures for the Administration of Pesticide Labels and Instruction for Use.

1. Pesticide formulated products shall be labeled with the      registration certificate number and the manufacturer’s name of the      technical material (TC) or technical concentrates (TK) used. Such      information may be included in the traceable electronic information code,      and the holder of the registration certificate for the formulated product      shall be responsible for its authenticity.

2. Pesticide products under the same registration certificate      number shall use the same trademark. Entrusted processed or repackaged      products shall not bear the trademark of the entrusted processor or repackager.

3.      For pesticide products registered for use on herbicide-tolerant crops,the names of the applicable crop varieties shall be labeled; Those used on herbicide-tolerant genetically modified crops, the names of the applicable crops and the events shall be labeled.

4. For pesticide products that require the addition of specified      adjuvants during use, relevant information about the adjuvants shall be      labeled.

This Announcement shall come into force on January 1, 2026. Pesticide product produced before January 1, 2026 whose labels or instructions do not comply with this Announcement may continue to be sold within the validity period of the products.
